Principal's Letter

 

Dear P.S. 215 Family,

It is my absolute privilege to join your extraordinary school community as the

incoming Interim Acting Principal. I am honored to have the opportunity to lead

a great school with such amazing students, dedicated faculty, staff and supportive

families. I can assure you that I share your commitment to support and serve ALL

of our students and families. I also look forward to supporting teachers and staff

in the pursuit of making the PS 215 educational experience a special one.

For the past 9 years, I have worked as an assistant principal in District 21 and was

delighted to be a part of the PS 97 family. During this time, I was committed to

creating the best possible learning environment for our students and also building

supportive and trusting relationships with the entire school community. Throughout

these years, I was constantly learning about the needs of our community, so I could

support it best. I am now very excited to learn about the PS 215 community and to

have the opportunity to work alongside you as we continue serving the students.

I am ready to pick up where Dr. Bove left off and to continue making the school better
every day.

As a mother and an educator, I believe wholeheartedly that every child deserves a

quality education filled with academic rigor and enrichment opportunities. I am

humbled and excited to be entrusted to lead PS 215 and to provide these

experiences to our children. I cannot wait to get to know all of you and to earn your

trust as we go on this journey together. Please know that my door is always going

to be open for all of you. I truly welcome your input and look forward to building our

shared vision of the future of PS 215 together!
